**At this time - I am unable to preserve anything over than insects. I hope to expand my offerings to mummification & Freeze Drying one day. If you have an already preserved animal you would like to use, I can certainly do that!

Deposit/Payment
- This purchase is to reserve your spot for a custom art piece from Birdtown Botanical Oddities.. The deposit paid will be applied towards your final invoice.
- I ask for a 50% deposit (including the initial 100) once you are quoted, to help pay for the cost of supplies - I will not begin the piece until that 50% is reached. Payment plans are always accepted.
- The 50% deposits for commissions are non refundable if I have already purchased the supplies.
- The final amount due must be paid in full before receiving your customer piece.
Information Needed
- There are many options regarding the vessel you would like to use for your project - The vessel used is also dependent on the items you would like inside of it. Options include - Domes, Vials, Bubble Frames, Old Clocks, Shadowboxes, if you have a vessel in mind - that can possibly work as well!
- There are also many options regarding insects and botanicals. I can always show you what I curently have available regarding my own specimens - if you have a certain insect/color scheme/size/shape - I will do my best to provide you with something exactly like - or as close to what you want.
- There are many options regarding crystals, bones, mushrooms and shells as well. If you are interested in adding any of these items, and I do not have them on hand - I can try my best to source for you, just as the insects.
- Please discuss with me the following things upon your deposit:
- The budget for your custom piece
- The vessel you would like to use
- Color scheme/ favorite florals/ insects you would like to use
- Reference photos (I will not copy another artists work)
- I cannot always guarantee that certain insects and flora will fit into certain vessels
PLEASE NOTE: I cannot make exact replicas of my own pieces. While themes, insects, and placements can be similar, It's not fair to the original customer to have their piece copied.
PLEASE NOTE: I will not work with Bats (as they are unethically sourced) I also cannot work with anything protected under the Migratory Bird Act. I will not source an insect that I cannot find from ethical/sustainable means.
Time/Pricing
- The time frame of a piece depends entirely on what exactly I am doing for you. I can provide you with an approximate time frame upon discussing what you would like.
- Pricing will depend on the materials involved, time to make as well as intricacy of the piece. Take a look at my website and try to get an idea for what prices are like. Prices will be slightly higher for commissions.
- Once a piece is finished, I will contact you for Pick-Up, which can be done at my studio located in 78th Street Studios, by appointment.
